Description
Diorite is a grey to dark grey, coarse-grained intermediate igneous rock. This diorite is from an unknown location but most likely from the New England Orogen geological provinence.
Diorite mainly contains plagioclase feldspars including andesine and albite (the white minerals) and biotite, hornblende and pryroxene (the dark minerals).
