Gabbro is a dark, coarse-grained maffic igneous rock Gabbro from the Middle Triassic Goomboorian Intrusive (formerly Igneous) Complex which is a part of the New England Orogen geological provinence.
Gabbro contains pyroxene, plagioclase and minor amonts of olivine and amphibole.
