Moroccan Fossil Shark Teeth

Large fossil shark tooth with enamel in good condition and intact root. Each tooth measures approx 7cm x 5cm. The specimen displays secondary cusplets on either side of the smooth edged main blade.
Most likely from Otodus obliquus, an extinct mackerel shark and an ancestor of Megalodon that lived 60-45 million years ago. Otodus was a widespread genus during the Paleocene and Eocene.
